Did you know that there are tons of ways to make using your Spectra pump much easier?

I wish that I knew some of these things and did not have to learn them the hard way through trial and error.

Below are a few of my tips to make pumping with your Spectra easier.

Choose the Right Bra

Finding the perfect bra can make a world of difference when it comes to making pumping easier. A hands-free pumping bra is an absolute game-changer.

Not only does it provide much-needed support, but it also allows you to multitask while pumping, whether it’s catching up on emails or simply snuggling with your little one.

Look for a bra with a secure fit to ensure maximum comfort during your pumping sessions.

Hacking the Spectra S2 with a Battery Pack

A Spectra S2 (the pink one) is one of the most popular pumps you can order through insurance. After you start pumping you might be wishing that you upgraded to the portable Spectra (the blue one).

Did you know that you can make your Spectra S2 even more versatile by using a battery pack?

This simple hack allows you to pump on the go, whether you’re traveling, running errands, or simply moving around the house.

By investing in a compatible battery pack, you can enjoy the freedom and flexibility to pump wherever and whenever you need to, without being tethered to a power outlet.

Using Different Baby Bottles with the Spectra Pump

When I first used the baby bottles that came with my Spectra pump, I found them very frustrating. I didn’t think the measurements matched my Medela bottles.

The Spectra bottles also were not very stable and easily tipped over.

Read here for more about different bottles that are compatible with Spectra and how to keep them from tipping over.

In addition to these tips, don’t forget to prioritize self-care and give yourself grace as you navigate this new chapter in your life.

Every breastfeeding journey is unique, and it’s okay to seek support and guidance along the way.

Whether you’re facing challenges or celebrating milestones, know that you’re not alone, and I’m here to cheer you on every step of the way.
